PEDAL GRAPHIC CREATION TUTORIAL?

Can anybody point me to a tutorial on how to go about creating an image to print for an absolute idiot to understand he has seen the you tube videos but they leave out imperative info in order for the idiot to follow and understand . He just wants to be able to say what the pedal is and what the knobs do real real simple stuff for others but not this guy. Cant even figure out how to import drill sheets to start from . Sad . So any info is appreciated

I’ve seen some of the things you’ve done very nice. I have both Gimp and Inkscape but they both may be above me I recall having problems learning MSPaint maybe it’s the jargon used for me or wording or both “Tutorials for the Complete Idiot(who just won’t give up!) Could be a title for your series think about it’s yours if you want it
 
Inkscape gets a lot of hate and seems to have a steep learning curve (at least for me) so Don’t feel bad about Inkscape being a pain because it is.(and I still use it... in to deep to go back now🤣) but here is a link to a tutorial that I watched over and over.... and over to figure things out. I feel like this guy has a good channel and explains things clearly and even walks you through how to set up Inkscape so you can follow along with him.

 
Thank you both very much for this. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Something to dip my toes in.Following the video I was able to make my very first image. Exciting stuff there’s a lot packed into that one video. Thanks again still looking forward to your tutorials though I hope you still plan on doing some
 
Nice! Glad that helped. Check out his other videos as well. Leaning Inkscape can be like drinking from a fire hose. Take on one small task at a time and don’t give up! it slowly gets easier. If you get stuck on something I’m sure someone has run into the same problem or is n the same situation so collectively we can figure it out.
 
Now go make a TS design and post it!

Definitely! I have to take baby steps so as not to overload the baby brain the fact I was able to make a simple first graphic is huge for me .This forum is hands down the best I have been on everyone has been way cool
 
I saw that thought about it but there’s not enough time for me to take that on but soon …….very soon
