Plasti-Dip to insulate

Has anyone ever used spray on plasti dip as electrical insulation? I have some low gain russian transistors that I made darlington pairs out of and i want to make sure they're not gonna short out on anything before i jam them back into the case. Was thinking to solder on some leads and then hose the transistors down with plasti dip and tuck them in out of the way somewhere.

Thoughts?

I've used some black rubber goo that comes out of a tube like toothpaste that when cured still has some flexibility to it.

I've used heat shrink tubes for this type of thing. Fast, clean, and reversible.

sounds pretty similar they have a liquid form of this stuff too

Ditto. This is just a large/weird shape and i kind of want to cover everything. Plus theres this can of plasti dip in front of me.......
