Pythagoras/Threeverb. Crystal is just for the pitch effects, right?

Playing around with Threeverb builds and trying a custom EEPROM with some reverbs on it. Dumb question: do I only need to include the crystal if I'm using pitch based effects like the glimmer reverb? Would it be safe to just jumper the crystal and its tuning cap?

Need the clock for the fv-1. You can operate it at different frequencies though.

Its right there in the datasheet, there are some helpful things to know when building fv-1 based projects, it’s really worth the time to read it.

Worth looking in to the adjustable clock board too. Opens up some interesting alternatives (reference the Deflector reverb).
