Question about THCustom Epic Loop 7-segment display

Asking here with the hope that someone has experience with this. I clicked support on thcustom.com, which leads to the madbean forum. I'm wondering if I'm colorblind, I can't pass the verification to create an account on the madbean forum.

Anyway...

I have the Epic Looper and the 7-segment add on

I only received a micro controller with the 7-segment display. Here's what I'm trying to figure out:
  • Does the micro controller on the 7-segment replace IC4 on the controller board?
  • Or did I not get a micro controller for the epic looper?

I have no experience with this project but this is one that has always made interested me. Especially because of the potential use of midi. Can’t wait to see how this turns out.

Just wanted to follow up here. I didn’t see the response from THCustom because it went to my junk folder, but the response was quick. He put the missing micro controller in the mail right away and I just got it today.

Great customer service.
