Sandspur Fuzz question

Based on the schematics at https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/Sandspur-PedalPCB.pdf , but I am no expert, am I able to NOT add the sundial external bias and only have the internal trimpot? I will be building one with both but I cant find a B5K pot right now so I want to try the pedal without a sundial. Will this work or if the pot isnt present does it break the circuit.

If you have a 10k trimmer it will work and then you can jumper the sundial so to bias is 100% internally with the trimmer. I think in an original fuzz face that resistor is 8k2 to give you 4.5v which is about right (everyone likes their bias point slightly different).
