Hi all
I have the silismile working well when the bias pin shows 4.6v. I tried putting a 6k resistor group (4.7k+1k+330r)in its place and i get the almost the same bias voltage. There is a 1k resistor beside the trimmer. Wondering why that 1k is needed with the trimmer right beside it. Why not dial up the trimmer more?
Could that trim pot be swapped out with a 7k resistor? (Or group that totals 7k)
Some designs use a 470R and 8.2k resistor likely due to easier to find.
Thanks
Pb

Build Your Own Point to Point Fuzz Face — Lottie Canto
I try to take Sundays off from working. However i break my own rule fairly regularly… last year i built a point to point fuzz face which i spent some time designing the layout. On Sunday i decided to make a little diagram of it so that others can use my layout to build their own. The schematic abo
