Southern Belle EQ

I threw together a Southern Belle Saturday. I used 4148s instead of BAT41s ( I didn't have any-I may put them on a switch). I like the quality of the distortion, but the eq range is not right. When the treble is right, it's too woofy, and when the bass is right, it'ss really bright. Any ideas on what values to change to get the eq in a more usable range?

So, a friend who has built pedals since the 80s, suggested changing C3 to a .047µf. This totally got rid of the woofy bass that I couldn't dial out. I'm using an SG with PAFs to test this pedal, so no low massive low end coming from the guitar.

I was never sure how to calculate that high pass filter setup there. It is supposed to be similar to a Timmy with the bass pot replaced by a resistor to preset the amount of blend in the capacitors.

You'd have 3.3k and 47nf making a 1026hz high pass then I guess the 3.3k+12k and 470nf making a 22hz high pass. Then you'd calculate the amount of gain for each one separately?
