Stockade gain Mod?

I recently build the Stockade Drive. Really love it, but was wondering if there is a mod I could do to get more gain out of it. Would be amazing especially on the B channel as I have it cranked.

There should be heaps of gain on the B channel. It's got a linear 1meg pot and the resistor to ground that sets the gain with it is 1k. Did you do any mods?

I agree it should have a ton of gain. I would double check R6, 10, 11 and 17. If those are all correct and you are left wanting more gain maybe change R10 to a trimmer wired as a variable resistor. A 5k or 10k would probably be good.

Thank you. I’ll have a look and make sure I did everything right. Something might be wrong as the gain range is very small. I have Gain A set to Minimum and Gain B to maximum and there isn’t a big difference between the 2.

Everything is correct. If i were to replace R10 with a 2k resistor, will that give me double the gain or doesn’t it work like that?

That's more or less how that works it. You can use the non inverting calculator here https://circuitdigest.com/calculators/op-amp-gain-calculator to figure the gain and then convert it to DB gain using this https://circuitdigest.com/calculators/decibel-db-calculator.

That being said I think something is not right with your pedal. It should have a ton of gain like more than your typical tube screamer or rat. With gain B engaged you have a gain of 1000 for a 60DB increase. The difference between A low and B high should be similar to whisper compared to a jet engine. I think something is either shorting or not connected somewhere.

Ah that sucks. There is a slight difference and it does sound great. I will inspect it
