Suggestions for 1590BB PCB size?

I'm in the process of laying out my first 1590BB (or more likely 1590BB2) PCB layout - in portrait orientation - and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for a maximum feasible board size for such a build. I could try to do some measurements of course but I'm wondering if there's "suggested" maximum dimensions.

My layout has two footswitches at the bottom corners that the PCB extends past, and has a rough shape like this, with three knobs up top:

  1. I had this same issue arise when I was designing my Spaceman Sputnik II/III clone project (build report here). Here are the dimensions of the board that I ended up making [edit: the top dimension should be 81.75; the other dimensions are correct plus or minus a smidgin of a millimeter]: Polaris Fuzz.png
Check out the pictures in the build report to see how I handled the audio and DC jacks. I used relay bypass daughterboards for the two footswitches; if you're using mechanical bypass, you can shrink the cutouts at the bottom by a few millimeters if you need the extra board space. I used 9mm PCB-mounted pots like these ones from Tayda.
  2. You seem to have picked up on this already, but I highly recommend using a 1590BB2 (or a 1590BBM, if you're ordering from @StompBoxParts). The extra depth is really helpful for making sure that the audio jacks can fit on top of the board.
