I appreciate the reply. I'm totally in line with any mods being YMMV... to me that's part of the fun of learning. Self-teaching by trial and error.
Thanks for the schematic, that's very helpful in understanding much of what you did.
I've built two pedals; this will be my third. Naturally, I'm developing an interest in incorporating slight variations. Understanding WHY we try certain things (like changing resistor values, or swapping Si and Ge transistors) is my next goal.
Of course, I'm a musician, not an electrical engineer, so learning as I go along.
