Threeverb controls question

This may be a stupid question, but I have to ask it...I've built many pedals, including a bunch from this site, but I'm looking at the Threeverb that uses the programmed FV-1. It lists 6 controls... dwell, volume, mix, mode toggle, and then there are two other "Parameter 1 and Parameter 2". Are these just not used for this pedal? Meaning I would just ignore them and not install pots for them? or do they actually do something. thanks for the help
