Unidentified component

Hello warriors,

I have an unidentified smd component in one rechargeable Fan control circuit with an ID=HD36 as found in the attached photo. I am pretty much doubting that it is a mosfet one yet haven't found which nor any related data sheet.

I appreciate any help on this regard and if I can ever replace it with any non smd component or equivalent.

seems like a likely candidate. Sometimes you can search the code on the top, and could narrow it down if you roughly know what type of component it is by applying some filters.

Thanks indeed for your kind reply. It is kinda confusing and I did find the same during my bulk search but just couldn't confirm it. So it is a mosfet after all.
I shall build on your answer so to find my way out on any equivalent in case I couldn't find this particular one.
