Universal PCB

Nathan, many moons ago you mentioned developing a universal pcb that would be flexible in approaching different "flavors" of preamps. The more I've looked at the Ambassador schematic (and learned more about the Matchless, Marshall, Fender schematics) I'm struck by how similar they all approach things through a similar Gain-->Gain-->Cath Follower-->Tone Stack design. Would something like this makes sense as a "universal" pcb:

Wire V1 in parallel and flavor to suit. This looks like it would basically work for a 59 Bassman, DC30, or JTM45 (Plexi derivative). Why couldn't you put Particle Accerator values in there and get the mid-60's blackface sound albeit with a bit more aggression and lower output impedance?
