Hi,
Just got my GP5 multi effect and disassembled it to figure out how they made it so small ...
Any way there are three stacked boards , one having two large ICs: first is MVSILICON Bluetooth audio processor which is a codec, DSP and BL audio and control interface. I don't know if this is the actual effects processor as it is not that strong to run NAM models as the GP5 does. Although it does provide hw fft and dsp accelerators. The other is labeled JAT with some date code. Does any one know what this is? ChatGPT suggests it is an MCU from microchip. Could it be a DSP?
