I'm interested in laying out a PCB for this VCA pedal designed by Dylan159. However, there are two optional jacks. I'm curious what you all think would be the best way to include these as optional. Dylan159 built one of these pedals and it appears he omitted the jacks.
It seems like basically if these were omitted, then D1 would connect to pin 6 of U2. And for the other jack, presumably J2 and R18 would just be omitted. So I'm thinking of basically having a pad for TN and T of J1, which would be jumpered if someone didn't want the extra jack, and then make R18 optional and have a pad for T on J2. And then if someone wanted to include them they could use those pads, and ground with existing pads elsewhere on the board. Does this make sense?
