Vox and fender style pre

Building a headphone Unicab combo for playing late at night, light testing pedals and breadboards without my tube amp.

Any suggestions on vox and fender in a box? Or any other pres?

I like a tone with just a touch of hair on it that I can push with an overdrive and boost.

Cobbler looks good. Doxie perhaps? Figment maybe?

Doxie would be my choice for pedals or even the box and all

Acetylene is a very flexible pre for headphone amp

I put the Cobbler and Doxie in the same enclosure. Both sound awesome.
