Pcbguitarmania cosmos delay. I have a 3p4t that seems to fit but that isn't compatible right?

If you look at the schematic, it’s actually a 3p4t rotary. GuitarPCBmania is just extremely error-prone, and the BOM is no exception here.

There are plenty of PT2399 based delays to try. I'd suggest one with a better track record.

Thanks I've built a few... actually built the Echo Nightmare from pcbmania and it is one of my favorites. I just really liked the idea of a multi-head tape simulation.

Thanks I've built a few... actually built the Echo Nightmare from pcbmania and it is one of my favorites. I just really liked the idea of a multi-head tape simulation.

The Sagan delay from carcharias effects is almost always out of stock, but it’s the best. There’s also the Hydra available here if you’re cool with an FV-1 based delay. I think Madbean used to have a version of the Sagan delay too, so while you can’t get the PCB from them now, you may be able to find one for sale on Reverb if you keep an eye out. There’s also a cool multi-head delay PCB from effectslayouts I think

Yeah that is the one I really wanted to build but they don't seem to restock often at all. It is what it is... I may just try this one now so I can beat my head against a wall.

I have no personal experience with the guitarpcbmania version, or any of their boards, but there are an inordinate amount of unresolved troubleshooting threads for their projects here. The project might be workable or the board might have a fatal flaw

Just out of curiosity is pcbmania known to have problem pcb's? Come to think of it, the only board I've ever given up on was their electric mistress clone.

I also have a Cosmos board that was generously gifted by another forum member. I was planning to trace it to make sure it’s all correct before building it. But I don’t know when I’m gonna have time to do so. I’ll post a thread when I do.
