Rotary speaker pedals

My buddy recently got a Line 6 MM4 for the rotary speaker sound, and it was awesome so naturally now I have the idea in my head that I want a pedal for rotary speaker sounds.

Here's the catch: it's almost guaranteed that if I bought something, I'd use it a couple times, say "huh, that's neat" and then put it on the shelf with all the other pedals, so maybe I can get by with like a chorus or vibe that I already have or something. So give me some advice. What say you?

GFI Synesthesia has a great rotary sound. After some time with it I really don’t get what some people could be complaining about with some of the sounds. The dual mod engine thing and the different dsp routing options is crazy versatile. It does literally every mod sound I can think of.

The Keeley Dyno My Roto does a really convincing Leslie speaker sound though it does sound a bit dry. I think I bought mine for under $100 used on Reverb.

I'd love to build my own version of that pedal...

I forgot about the Vomit Comet, ooh la lahhhhh.

That's right up my meandering (read "twisted") alley.

If anyone hears of more boards being offered again, somebody hit me...
