Classic for the win

I've been on a strat kick for the last year now and barely play anything else. At home or gigging it just sounds killer with a fuzz face and a Klon through my Marshall. I didn't understand strats for a long time having been used to double humbucker guitars and teles. After I went back to using a Marshall it just clicked.

They for sure have their preferences when it comes to pedals. But when you find the right ones it unlocks crazy fat tones. I let my strat sleep for a very long time. Finally have it dialed in. And you are right with the FF, my strat is the only guitar I have to sounds amazing through a FF. Everything else is just ok.

100%. My tele works with a fuzz face but like to said its just ok. None of my humbucker guitars sound very good with it either but the strats bloody killer.

I'm investigating tone benders at the minute to see if I like those with humbuckers.

I had to mix & match from 3 different sets to get all flats on my Gretsch Rancher — in a stupidly light guage, it was difficult to keep in tune but I loved the sound and feel (all acoustic, mind).

I'd like to hear someone weigh in with P90s regarding the Fuzz Face, or any of the combination of pedals in the OP.
