Matched JFETS for Phase 90 - what numbers am I actually looking for ?

So I have splashed out on a SOT23 Peak tester, why not hey. I have 100 each of mmbf5457 and mmbfj201s.

What bloody numbers am I looking for and what is an acceptable range for said numbers ?

I used this article at GeoFex to suss out how to match JFETs for a phaser.

I'd take MMBF5457 and measure Vp - take four pieces with (almost) the same Vp value. Almost = with spread as low as 0.1V or even less. 0.05.. 0.01..
Exact Vp value is less important. Focus on the spread of the Vp.

That's right. Considering that Vp for 5457 will probably be around 1.3-1.7V I would try to aim for differences no greater than 0.05V. But you'll see for yourself what you find in 100pcs
