I have a brand spanking new overdrive PCB inspired by the new Marshall JCM 900 pedal.... and I really want to give it away but I can't just go around offering folks a "new overdrive PCB inspired by the new Marshall JCM 900 pedal", as catchy as it sounds that name is just waaaay too long.

So here's the deal, give me some ideas.

If your suggestion is chosen (or inspires me, or I just like it, or your post stands out for some reason) you'll get a free PCB of your choice. It doesn't necessarily have to be the "new overdrive PCB inspired by the new Marshall JCM 900 pedal" if you don't want that.... any in stock PCB is fair game, including the ProtoBoard and Auditorium.

If, by some chance, a name just happens to come to be between now and then we'll just end the contest early and pick a random post as the winner.

JCM… hmmm… John Cougar Mellancamp

900 is the 90s…

“Human Wheel” (Human Wheels is a crummy John Cougar Mellancamp album from the 90s, but it’s a cool sounding name)

Or the JCM900 is the 4100… how about “4k1Ω Preamp” or even just “4k1 preamp”

We can round down for “4K UHD” (of course, we can pretend UHD stands for ‘ultra heavy distortion’ or something lame like that if we really want to)
