legit BB opa2134 ?

Looks nearly identical (bad logo, similar date code) to one I had a problem with from tayda, I vote fake

That Mouser-sourced pic looks like the OPA2134s I have. I have a few of them and seem to replace them with something else whenever I have used them. They're probably a bit too hi-fi or something for me. I use TL072s (just bought a bunch off Mouser for not too much $$) or TLC272s which seem to work for me. The differences are extremely minor! In most pedals you'd never know which I had used. In fact the first pedal where I could hear much difference was in an OD which relied purely on opamp breakup for the distortion. Then I could (just about) hear the difference, and in that circuit the OPA2134 was my least favourite option.

The OPA2134 has way lower total harmonic distortion than the TL072 or NE5532, but this is IMHO only
justified in circuits such as phono preamps. Thus checking for fake ones would most likely require a
spectrum analyzer. But just record a pure 1kHz sine wave and then check with a simple audio program,
such as Audacity.
