Hey guys,
Mjust curious if anyone knows if this will work. Friend of mine wants a box so he can have basically a second setting that he can hit the footswitch and activate and then release so momentary.

I was thinking just wire the trs jack to momentary 3pdt, connect one side to the pot the nc on the other set of lugs. I’m just not sure if that would trigger the effect and then have it go back to its normal setting.
 
Bmy guess is the trs ex jack is switching. You could toggle it between two settings via footswitch but I don't think you could toggle between "new circuit" and pedal settings because the switching jack overrides the pedal

Thats kind if what i was thinking. But apparently when you move the pot on the pedal it takes over control from the expression pedal.

Which leads me to believe its not truly switched.
 
Ah. Using optos and/or digi pots I guess?
Wire a pot to a switch to a trs jack and find out.
I don't think you'll get momentary action though if moving the pot on the pedal is a requirement.

Im going to suggest the two pots on the switch I think. That should allow the momentary. Could just do a concentric pot and would work I think. I dont have the pedal here to experiment with unfortunately was just going to draw a wiring diagram for him
