U-turn orbit turntable

I was thinking of getting a new turntable. I want to get a better one than what I have (just a crappy all in one). I have been looking at the orbit turntable from u-turn audio. They have some that aren’t overly expensive and I like that you can upgrade them if you want. Anyone have any experience with these?

I have one and really like it, it is just the base version. Part of me is tempted by the acrylic platter but that is more of an aesthetic upgrade than a necessity. I know it’s supposed to “improve” the sound but I’m not listening in a critical environment. Most of the time I’ve got records playing while hanging out in the living room or cooking in the kitchen, not sitting in the sweet spot and analyzing every detail.

And while it might sound a little contradictory to my previous statement, I’ve got Fender Passport / Focal powered studio monitors hooked up after the preamp. I already had them, they were collecting dust, they sound good and since they’re powered I didn't need anything else so it looks clean in the living room.

I was thinking of getting the base model with an upgraded cartridge. Not 100% yet though.
