Bluebeard and Blend?

For those of you with experience with this unit--

Gearing up to build one--do you feel that a blend would benefit the circuit a la Darkglass, or would it be kind of beside the point?

I learned that it originated in my very own backyard--Atomic Music in Beltsville, MD. I've bought two guitars there and had no idea.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Sanford and Sonny fuzz? In that case: no need for a blend.

I own one of those and use it on bass. It totally slays and cuts through any kind of mix as is.

Edit: the tone bypass switch on later models is very cool, don't leave that out.

Yep, there's a whole discussion Here.

Still in breadboard form for me as I still have to retest and try some stuff.
I'm gonna make one or have someone make one for me. I found that old thread... my only question is whether it needs 47n clipping caps or 100n. I'm kind of into more of an overdrivey muff for bass. Maybe I"ll socket those caps.

Sonny is the man and the one time I went to Atomic was incredible (I was at college just outside Baltimore in the mid-'00s).

According to the GGG schematic, it's 100n. If you go to the other thread, feral feline did a solid and outlined the changes from a green Russian. There are a couple other changes as well.
