LDR for Abyss (and others) that call for KE-10720

Hey all,
I'll soon be building out the Abyss project, and as you may know finding KE-10720 LDRs is pretty much a no go anymore.

The specs of a KE-10720 LDR are Photo Resistance at 10LUX: 10KΩ-20KΩ, Dark Resistance Min: 0.5MΩ, and maybe rise/fall time at 35 and 5ms respectively.

I've seen elsewhere that the GL5516 has been suggested, and indeed PedalPCB carries them
Those specs are Light Resistance: 5 – 10KΩ, Dark Resistance: 500KΩ, and rise/fall time of 30 and 30ms respectively

The GL5528 is closer, at Light Resistance: 10 – 20KΩ, Dark Resistance: 1M, and rise/fall time of 30 and 30ms respectively

However, I was searching around on Mouser and found these that are probably a MUCH closer match to the original KE-10720
This unit's specs are Light Resistance: 9 – 20KΩ, Dark Resistance: 500KΩ, and rise/fall time of 60 and 25ms respectively.

So, my assumption is that the ones I found on mouser would be the best (almost) direct replacement LDR simply due to the specs.
I've order a few of them to try out in the board when I build it, but i've also ordered some GL5516 and GL5528 LDRs as well just in case.

What is the collective thoughts on the Mouser units I found, if if they would be a more suitable replacement (perhaps even close enough to just say that the build docs could be updated for this more easily sourced part?

Yes, the Advanced Photonix PDV-P9002 looks like the closest match to the original KE-10720 based on the datasheet specs, especially the 9–20kΩ light resistance range. The GL5528 is probably the next best option, while the GL5516 will likely behave a bit differently due to its lower light resistance. For an Abyss-style optical circuit, the PDV-P9002’s slower response time probably won’t be an issue and may even sound smoother.
