Best Clean Fender AIAB

@temol ... This started from the AMT F1 and ended up here after 4 iterations and ended up much more closely matching the Particle Accelerator pre-amp from sushi box. I even included C1 100pf to match the 12ax7 grid capacitance of the tube pre-amp to get an exact EQ match to the real fender pre-amp.

I'll try it out soon :)
What are the target drain voltages for the VTB1-3?

This is meant to be a clean circuit, so the target is roughly midway between supply voltage and source voltage. In the schematic as shown, this was all done with 12V target supply voltage. But, I made sure it didn't crash out at 9V supply voltage. Hard to keep it clean with hot pups at 9V. So... the full PCB is intended to use a voltage doubler for 9V supply or, to be powered with 18V or more and regulated down to 12V.

It will add some cost but you can use a Traco TEC 3-0912 to provide clean 12V from a 9V supply. I am designing a few things using Traco DC/DC converters since they are excellent solutions for higher power requirements.

The original purpose was to have a TPA3118 power amp to make a full fender amp in a 125B case, so the early revisions were powered with 24VDC 3A. The option to remove the TPA3118 and use 9V was an add-on later, which is an easy voltage doubler circuit. No high power needed. The power supply section of the PCB is a bit complicated as a result... Can use 12V power direct... 9V with voltage doubler... Or 24V with TPA3118.

Excellent points and modularity. The only thing I'm not a fan of is using a charge pump, I hate that they can introduce whine into the audio.

Only if you pick the wrong one... The ones shown in my schematic will not whine. Some run down as low as 5khz, which will whine. The LT1054 with pin one tied to pin 8 runs at no less than 15khz (25khz target) and the ICL7660S runs at 35khz.
