Halloween's over but

I wanted to show you my costume. We did a whole family theme from the Witcher with me as Geralt, my wife was Yennefer, our daughter was Princess Cirilla, and my dog was Geralt's horse, Roach. We had a lot of fun but didn't see a ton of people. Sharing for anybody who's a fan and might appreciate. I'm already thinking of ideas for next year!

That's awesome. I love The Witcher. I got hooked with Witcher III (I started another play-through on PC a while back) and then bought all the books and burned through them. If you enjoy reading I'd recommend them if you haven't read them already. I think they might be due for a re-read for me, it's been a while now.

I listened to the audiobook of the last wish but I was really bummed to find out that none of the other books are in audiobook format. I played a little of the witcher 3 on PS4 but dropped it like 5 hours in. The tv show is the only show I've ever binge watched

Yeah, I really loved the show and am pumped for season two. I usually don't get excited about TV shows but Witcher does it for me. I was a little worried because, while I love Henry Caville, I didn't see him as Geralt at all. I thought he should have been a bit older and a little more worn out. I think that Mads Mikkelsen is maybe closer to how I pictured him. But I have to admit that Henry won me over, thought he did great and totally owned it.

Did the game not pull you in, or are you not big on gaming? Time is hard to come by with little ones running around as well, so there's always that.

I found the combat tedious and not enjoyable in the game and dropped it to play red Dead redemption 2. I might give the Witcher 3 another try at some point.

I had no idea who Henry Cavill was before watching the Witcher but from what I've heard, you're not alone in being skeptical of him as Geralt before watching the show
