Cetus preamp - adding a "tight" switch

@Feral Feline Yes, and I think it needs a tad more gain when maxed. Maybe a 300k pot for the gain? P.s. no I haven't tried your mods yet.

Cetus preamp - adding a "tight" switch

Very interesting experiment! 😯 In your schem above, is the "C1" where the 10nf goes or the 22nf? Also what value pot would you recommend? 😃

    Little Green Scream Machine Mods

EDIT: I mean two pots thus controlling the dry (bypassed) and wet outputs separately.

    Little Green Scream Machine Mods

To be honest I was thinking about something more mechanical. My idea is to put a simple on/off switch to power the unit on or off and then instead of the 3pdt footswitch perhaps I could somehow wire a pot. What do you guys think? Stupid? Cheers

Yes but the modded 808 here is more lightweight. No NE5532 etc. etc.

What I would really like to add on this one is a blend pot for wet/dry. It should be helpful.

    SOLVED Triangulum issue

My brother took my finished triangulum for himself and I decided to build another again. Thankfully I always buy two of each whenever I order. So I finished the stompbox and I believe I did it exactly like the previous but here's what I encounter: When it's ON there's no signal BUT I can hear...

    SOLVED Triangulum issue

Yep, makes perfect sense! I just realized 🙄 Edit: it's literally the first project I do "by the numbers". That's why I always print the schem out.

    SOLVED Triangulum issue

Hello guys. So I just wired the triangulum (I went with the full build, including the asterisks). It works but when on, the pot cuts the signal entirely when it's at zero. Not on bypass, only when it's on. Is the "original" supposed to behave the same? Cheers

    Mean Green Metal Machine led's?

Yep! Turns out it was the LEDs all along! Switched them and boom! Thank you so much for the info guys!

    Mean Green Metal Machine led's?

Interesting read. I got those clear LEDs from mouser, spec'd 1mA with a forward voltage of 1.6v Now truth be told when I switch it on, the LEDs don't light up not even a little bit. Bypass works fine, but as I said before, when it's switched on you can only hear the drive hissing as you max it...

    Mean Green Metal Machine led's?

I think I used two 3mm clear (red) with a low current of only 1mA or 2mA. Not even 20mA like most common LEDs.

    Mean Green Metal Machine led's?

Anyone built this? When the pedal is engaged/led on, I get no sound at all.
