Just finished building this - I think it's working fine but I'm not particularly blown away by it so just want to double check my biasing. 3x J201s I've set to half supply voltage, the final J201s has no trimmer so I'm also curious what that should be reading.

Got most of the way through building a Pumbaa board then realised how difficult OPA604s seem to be to get hold of (at least in the UK) 🤦‍♂️ Would anything easier to find make a suitable alternative? Cheers!

I have another Q, what exactly is the stereo 'spread'? Common trick with modellers is to delay one ear by 10-20ms but I'm assuming it's not that

5088 and 3904 sound pretty similar to my ears but this probably confirms it as a 5088. I'll have a play with diodes next, I think I have some 9DEs somewhere. Also interested to see if the High Road is just different diodes or anything more.

Sorry should have mentioned those are pulled from the internet so don't have further details. I'm pretty new to this, how would diode selection influence transistor selection (and vice versa)?
