Both are working fine, I like the extra "sparkle" the buffer adds, however it is interacting weirdly with the glory hole. its like its putting a blanket over it or something when both are engaged. without the skeptical, the glory hole is totally fine. the buffer is in front of the glory hole...

Build docs say NP for these (guessing that is non-polarized) however the PCB has a marking for the + side and the schematic is using a polarized symbol with NP next to it. should I be using polarized or non-polarized here? also what would the effect of using polarized be if non-polarized?

I bend the legs, but if I need to hold something in place I use silly putty. just don't get it too hot or its a mess

I am using the correct A100k pot and when measured at the pot it behaves normally - however turning up the know turns down the drive and vice versa. what should I be looking for?

I have messed with it off and on for a bit. I can def get it to work, lack the electrical knowlegede to know exactly what I am looking at half the time. when you say DC offset is that the combination of the DC and AC? (pardon my simple terms, I don't really understand what I am looking at...

I followed this process with a LPB-1, thanks for the write-up, even if 2 years ago! What does the shape of the output voltage mean? Anything to be inferred from that?
