Hey, just finished a Pot & Kettle and sounds pretty good, but I'm not sure about the presence knob behaviour. When I wind it down it actually kills the volume, I assume that's not normal? thanks Frank

Hey, built a working Marigold, but this zener biassing thing is doing my head in, with no zener I get 2.2v @ Q3 collector, a 4.3v zener gives 1v, a 5.1v zener gives 1.5v Am using an AC127 for Q3, and a1N34a for D1 Do you need the zener if I'm getting close to 2.6v @Q3?? thanks Frank

thanks again mdc, I have 5 AC127's and they test 115 - 155 hFe with 14uA leakage using my TC1 tester, I'm using a 1N34a diode on base to gnd. I'll try using a trimmer like you suggest, probably next weekend though!
