I built an Electro Vibe for a friend, and he's a little disappointed that (to his ears) the vibe only goes up to unity volume with the vol knob all the way up. Are there any simple modifications to boost the overall output level? Thanks.

I skipped the LED compressor indicator part of the circuit on the quartz and just wired a regular LED. Between the Quartz and the Convex, which one is more transparent?

Do the Tso or the Convex run at 18v?

I guess I'm looking for the one with minimal "colouration", but it sounds like I need to just try both for myself.

I built the AionFX Quartz (Diamond Comp) recently, and now I'm thinking of trying out their Convex (OTC-201) build. Has anyone compared these two pedals? Do either do anything better than the other? I'm basically just looking to use it as a subtle "always on" compression.

Since most univibe's I'm aware of are quite power hungry, I Just wanted to check if anyone knows how much current Electrovibe mini draws (or the regular one for that matter if it's not the same). I searched around and couldn't find any answers.

What could cause it to have too high resistance? Just a faulty charge pump?
