Im getting a weird hiss? Or just some ambient noise on this spirit box when turning up the depth and just doesn't sound right. Not sure what the hell is going on. Any ideas?? Should I have used film box capacitors instead of ceramic ones? Is it some ground issue?

Hey all, Is there a difference between film box capacitors and ceramic and electrolytic? As can one be used instead of another?

Ok so. I got the spirit box together. All the solder joints are good. It bypasses and it turns on. When I turn up the depth knob the B2K it goes half way the cuts out. And it doesn't seems to have any effect. SMH. Any ideas on what's happening ?

I was wondering if anyone has a pic of the underside of the spirit box board all wired up. Having a hard time seeing and figuring out a couple things. Thanks much.
