    SOLVED Abyss bizarre LFO/LED behavior

Annnnnnd that’s the ballgame. One of the wraparound tabs in the back of the dual-gang pot must have been making contact on C14. Thanks zgrav!

    SOLVED Abyss bizarre LFO/LED behavior

All of the caps were the right values and in the right direction, however, I used thinner adhesive squares for the backs of the rate and throb pots, and the rate pot is right above C14 and 15. Going to desolder and try a thicker barrier, I’m assuming I’m shorting out against the back of the pot...

    SOLVED Abyss bizarre LFO/LED behavior

If I unplug and replug the LED immediately starts blinking again. I don’t have to wait for anything to reset.

    SOLVED Abyss bizarre LFO/LED behavior

Hi all, I’ve built 4 Abyss pedals in the past with no issues, but having a weird issue on my latest build that I can’t figure out. When power is first applied, the LED blinks at rate as intended, but eventually after about a minute, it doesn’t go all the way dark, then eventually the LED just...

    Tayda Pre-Drilled Enclosure LED

Hi all, I picked up a few of the Tayda enclosures to try out with a few builds, but the LED hole sizes don’t seem to fit any 3mm LED bezels I have right now. Hole is too small for what I have (assorted 3mm bezels from Tayda, Mouser and others). Are there particular bezel sizes or types in mind...

Dream Fuzz Muffled (no pun intended)

Thank you SO much! Three cheers for sleep deprivation with young kiddos (who needs drugs when you have toddlers). Totally missed that "p" instead of "n". Works like a charm.

Dream Fuzz Muffled (no pun intended)

Hi all, I built the Dream Fuzz. When I wired it up to my test breadboard, it did not have the glorious woof of a Big Muff. Tone is super bassy, muffled and far away, almost like there is a fuzz tone beneath a blanket, absolutely no high end to speak of. Checked and re-checked solder joints...

    Duophase Parallel to one output?

I ended up just running the parallel output to a second jack, so 1 in, 1 out for series, 1 in, 2 out for parallel. I have another PCB here, might try experimenting with those values on R29 as mentioned. Thanks for the advice there. Otherwise, this was a super painless build.

    Duophase Parallel to one output?

Update: I'm an idiot. I'm trying to run two separate phasers to the same jack. I am pretty sure this will never work.

    Duophase Parallel to one output?

Hi all. So, I drilled an extra hole for a DPDT switch that I was hoping to use to make a series/parallel switch for the Duophase. Series operation seems to work fine, parallel just squeals at me. I feel like I'm just overlooking something obvious, wondering if someone has input here. Going...
