So I've never worked with a rotary switch. Long story short I didn't measure my enclosure drill outs correctly and my rotary is in the way of my jack.
I was wondering if I could wire it in instead of mounting directly into the pcb to save some room. I noticed there's a little tab on the switch...
I'm also having issues with this board lol. Mine however involves the switch. I installed an on/off/on that's what it calls for in the docs. However 2 of them dont do anything. There's sound but basically a boost, no change in each. The last setting works. It's a fuzz/octave.and sounds good.
Honestly, I believe it was happening last night when I was messing with it last night. I'm not home right now but I believe it was happening without the power plugged in.
The DC isn't shorted, it just looks like it from the picture. Bad angle. It's also not my cables. Tested them with all my other pedals I've made. I will shorten up those wires. I'm thinking some wire in that mess is probably the issue.
I'll try adding a resistor, adjusting the trim doesn't change the grounding issue. It's happening with the pedal off. I'll fix up those wires connecting to the board
So I'm getting ground noise.high pitched..when touching the guitar strings and the footswitch/pots it goes away.
I noticed it happens when the guitar cable is plugged into the output. When plugged into the input it doesn't happen.
Anything I can add to help ground it? I'll try to reflow the...
at least in my state. speaking of tayda shipping, I ordered last wed and still not shipped yet. I didnt even order a colored enclosure. longest wait for me since Ive been using them. they must be busy
fedex express drivers actually work for Fedex, Fedex ground drivers do not work for fedex and work for random owners like amazon drivers. Amazon drivers are not amazon employees.
I finally solved the issue, I changed out the TOP pot to a B50k and not only does it work. ITS LOUD. I think I may change out the vol pot to a B100k not sure how much of a difference that will make, I kind of like the B50k in that spot. I didnt strip the wire long enough and it wasnt getting a...
vol is normal in bypass
pressing on the transistors makes some wild noises and changes the sounds like a wild alien is being assaulted
