    Which digital platform?

In my experience, the power supply circuit in the terrarium circuit vs the petal circuit with the PDS1 and the inductor makes no difference in noise.

    interesting daisy project on github

Thank you! The screen is super helpful! I also have a 1590b sized version of the project with 4 knobs and no screen. It's cool too, and can be done with all through-hole parts, but I find myself using the 125b one with the screen more often. Creating this pedal project was my way to learn...

    interesting daisy project on github

Oh hey cool! That's my project, glad you all found it helpful! I'm pretty active on the Electro-smith discord and forums. If anyone ever has any questions about the project, I'm, happy to answer. I'm also looking for contributors if anyone wants to help on the hardware or software side of the...

Thinking about taking a deep dive into digital

Midi is getting pretty popular with digital guitar pedals these days (see midi support on all Strymon, Chase Bliss, Meris, and Empress pedals). Midi is primarily used to change settings on the effects in bulk. Imagine a live setting where you have a pedal board with 10 fx and you need to...

Thinking about taking a deep dive into digital

The Petal is cool, but way too big format for my pedal board. I'm aiming to cram mine into the 1590B enclosure size, single foot switch, 4 knobs. Stereo in / out (1/4 TRS), Midi in/out (1/8 TRS), 2 Leds. Ideally then I can have a few of these on my board in different positions for relatively cheap.

    Terrarium TL072 question

I've been doing some research on guitar input buffers while playing around with the Daisy Seed so that I can use a seed as a guitar pedal. I came across the Terrarium schematics and was using that as an example for the input buffer powered by the TL072 opamp. However, I see that schematic is...

Thinking about taking a deep dive into digital

I'm getting started with the Daisy Seed also with the intent of building a Guitar Pedal platform. Here is my current progress. It's a 9v powered breadboard with Stereo Input and Stereo Output using the Daisy. I based the circuit on the schematics for the Daisy Petal, but I had to modify the...
