Is it high time you share your tap tempo class with us?

Here's how to show what "setting" you're on based on LED tally pattern, (bonus knob to encoder util included)

Hello! Watch the video for a proper demo, but here's two very helpful utils that I've created. The first being LedOptionIndicator while(1) { int rotary_position = GetRotaryPosition(knob1); LedOptionIndicator(led2, rotary_position); System::Delay(1); }...

Anyone build a Terrarium with Daisy Seed v1.2 rev 7? (I'm getting unusually bad noise) - SOLVED

Yes it’s soldered, I have another one in the mail, I’ll test Also to both you and @keyth72, I’ve only tried it into a USB interface and no amp model, I’ll run it into my Orange today and let you know what happens

Not to throw a spanner in the works here but my Rev 7 is clear as a bell without the filter. It’s likely worth building it anyway for those that haven’t put theirs together yet

Right, so my Daisy Seed doesn't output any sound. More info inside.

This was fixed, it was a broken 9V socket. The daisy seed can send power to the LEDs (I think?) so the IC wasn’t getting gas. Not sure if that’s what it was but replacing the socket worked

SOLVED I think this op amp is broken, looking for a sense check (mp3 files included)

PSA: this was solved, it was a broken 9V power socket. I didn’t pick up on it because it Daisy Seed with fall back on USB power and can still trigger the LEDs even without 9V input, so I had working LEDs but not a working IC

Hey mate, the build is the Terrarium This is from Tayda, the op amp is a TL072IP and stamp is 28A11GM

I'm probing this op amp Pin 3 is a clear signal Pin 1 however is glitched and horrific, this is the sound i basically get from the other end of the pedal (once it passes thorugh) This op amp is cooked right?

yeah I did see your problem, I was going to do the filter if it actually worked. We have the same version and revision. I haven’t fried it as far as I can tell, everything else seems to work just fine (controlling switches and LEDs etc), so not sure if we’d see this symptom if it was cooked...

@Robert im keen to eliminate the Terrarium from this equation. Listening to these two recordings, doesn’t sound feasible that the problem exists on the terrarium? I’ve checked the op amp is securely in the right orientation...

I've built the Terrarium, and managed to get the Blink example working, environment all set up (this part isn't alien to me, i am a dev by trade). I've also managed to control the LEDs with switches correctly and all seems to work okay in that area. You'll see it in the below script. However...

Can someone help me understand the lugs on this input/output jack?

I think I've wired them up wrong by assuming the tip lugs were both the signal, I can't read this datasheet though

I'm looking to build the Stone Age Distortion (Skeleton Key), but I realised I only have 1.6M resistors on hand, would it make much difference here?

Thanks, so I can understand and learn, can you explain why, are they all voltage splitters?

There's four of them in this circuit, https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/StoneAgeDistortion-PedalPCB.pdf How much difference do you think that would make?
