Oh woops! Thanks for letting me know.
Here are the voltages:
1: 5.05V........8: 9.19V
2: 5.07V........7: 5.09V
3: 4.72V........6: 5.05V
4: 0.0V..........5: 5.05V
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. Tomorrow i’ll work on getting the surfaces cleaned up. And don’t hold back on any criticisms, I still have a whole lot to learn. I did these at 785F, what’s a good target temperature I should use?
Measured the pin voltages:
1-8: 4.14V
2-7: 0.04V
3-6: 0.0V
4-5...
I took some additional photos of it out of the enclosure to show both sides:

Please disregard the power jack not being soldered in these photos; it's only because I had just taken it out of the case.
Just gave a new switch a shot and still no luck. I wired it up manually and without the breakout board. When cranking the volume knob I can hear a slight increase in general amp noise, but still no signal at all. And as I said, the signal passes fine when the switch is not engaged.
Could the...
Thanks for the reply!
Just ran a meter across what you said and that’s gotta be it. When ON, I’m getting continuity between the middle and middle-bottom pads.
Gonna take this breakout board off and try another or without it at all. This is my first time using a breakout board so I’m not...
Hi,
I finished up a Mach 1 PCB tonight and am having some troubleshooting issues. When powered, the LED does come on. True bypass does pass through the cables and to my amp. However when stomped on, all sound cuts. I have checked for any grounding out and have tried it both outside and inside...
I have tried adjusting the Gain and Bias trim pots across their full ranges but the bulb still stays on at max speed. Thanks for the info on LDR's, I am very unfamiliar with them so that's great to know - I will definitely make that adjustment regardless.
And thank you for the washer tip...
I finally got around to building my Electrovibe and it sounds so good. Only issue I'm having is when I increase the speed knosb (happens on both knobs), the bulb will pulse faster then once maxed, the bulb will remain always on. I have tweaked both trim pots across the full range to see if that...
I'm building an Electrovibe and am unsure as to how the photocells are supposed to be positioned around the bulb. I've found a few photos online but want to make sure I do it correctly.
I have 7532 photocells...
I was wondering if it was possible to simply swap out an audio pot for a logarithmic pot and vice versa as desired. I’m really curious about this idea. Do you leave your Gain knob as a B10K?
Ya, I did sub those resistors due to Tayda not having the original values (or maybe I messed up my cart when compiling all of the components).
Sounds like it’s just user error. I still love the sound of the pedal, just wanted to be certain I didn’t make a careless mistake.
Thanks again!
