Yes, I think I'm looking to do something a little different here. An amp in the box is not going to be the same as a pedal that transforms the EQ of an existing amp into another fairly similar amp. So I will look at designing a pedal that cuts a little bit of bass, adds a little bit of mid scoop...

I modeled the 763 in LTSPice. The overall EQ doesn't have a mid scoop, just a distinct high boost. I don't think that pedal is going to make a 5e3 sound like a Blackface. I think I'll have to do some engineering to figure out how to do it.

Couldn't see any build reports on either in here. I think they would work on a vanilla amp but to tweak (specifically) the 5e3 to a 763 might need some engineering. I will try modeling the 763 in Spice and see what the overall EQ is.

Looking at the diagram, in ldss mode you measure the volts across the 100 ohm resistor and multiply by 10 to get current in mA. So yes, I should have said divide by 100 if you want the result in A. However, the actual values for this are best quoted in uA, so to get straight to that you measure...

As the Park and Ride doesn't seem to be a popular build I thought I'd just drop in and say that this pedal has returned to my pedalboard, replacing one of my overdrives (shock!). I find it adds a very nice tonal option that you just cant get without a wah pedal. Highly recommended if you like...

I've just modelled the Rat in LTSpice to learn about the circuit before I build it. I noticed that the distortion pot seems way too big as you are clipping the op amp before you get close to half travel even on a 100k log pot (~10k). So I think you are right. Of course the diodes then clip...
