A polarized filter would eliminate the reflection. I used to do wedding shoots back in the 70's and 80's. I'm not sure if they make anything like that for an iPhone. So I thought I'd check real quick. polarized iPhone filter

    Soldering Mat

The tweed chassis' have the PT flush with the edge of the chassis! They don't play well with these due to the lack of an 'edge' to place on the furring strip. I have one of these, but no joy with the bassman chassis. Which, btw, I still haven't finished. I only have to wire up the rectifier...

Are those some type of artichoke? I used to grow them but the Argentine ants would farm them with aphids and kill them off. The entire SoCal area used to be covered with these ants but Covid killed them all. Weird but true. To wit, I just ordered some artichoke seeds. A bit late in the...

huh, I don't remember. Probably Discover? We used that extensively until Costco forced us to use their Visa card to shop there. We wore that one out, bought another, and that ones been replaced now as well, so it was probably 2008ish?

When a 1.75 year old washer/drum failed, my wife filed a dispute with the credit card company. In the fine print there's a 2 year automatic warranty on appliances. Sure enough we got a new one for free!

So I thought “what if I melted the chocolate chips with the butter before adding to the rest of the ingredients while making brownies?” About the same flavor, but deeper chocolate, insanely thick gooey texture

    Need some laptop/desktop help

Well, I hate to say this, but I just turned 69 years old on March 20. Needless to say it’s been a while since I’ve been to a high school and I’m not exactly sure what they even teach anymore! When I was in high school we had to use slide rulers; calculators were too expensive and *nobody* had...

    Parts stores Los Angeles?

You may not know that the sales tax rate here is 10%, so in many cases you'd be better off buying off of eBay.

Do you prefer lead or lead-free solder?

I remember about 20 years ago when a southern California city heard that dihydrogen monoxide was the most damaging chemical in the world. They banned it. Imagine their surprise when they found out they had just banned water? It is responsible for rust, erosion, etc. Political figures should...

    Anti Static Bracelet & Mat

I use them when assembling/repairing PC's. I mostly build tube amps. A pedal here and there. SoCal winters when the Santa Anna winds blow can really make tons of static.
