Should I let my pregnant wife help me populate PCBs?

With the world going up in pre-WW3 engagements this seems to be more of an election year diversion than an attempt to rectify bad plumbing. He spent the same amount to install electric chargers across the country. The money is gone, there are ZERO new charging stations.

Should I let my pregnant wife help me populate PCBs?

I no longer trust the CDC. The government doesn't belong in health. Last week THEIR OWN DOCUMENTS were leaked by a whistleblower showing they knew that the jab can lead to fatal blood clots, but they suppressed that info. This is what killed my wife. An hour after she got the jab she...

Should I let my pregnant wife help me populate PCBs?

I know of no substances that would be on resistors and capacitors that is harmful in any way! Some leads have plastic coating on them, which is why I polish all leads with rubbing alcohol and a scotch brite pad until they are gleaming before I solder. In any case almost all substances that...

Should I let my pregnant wife help me populate PCBs?

I have never heard of transdermal lead transfer. Our epithelial cells have semi-permeable membranes that block most everything. And I've done a lot of research on this subject 'cuz I don't wanna be stupid and sick, and have to take chelation therapy. Once upon a time I was going to be a...

    Davies 1510 aluminum knob

This is the pricing at CE Dist, in Tempe AZ. Not sure how that compares, but if you have a business license you can apply for a wholesale account with them. They just might even give it to you if you just sent a picture of a bunch of pedals and say "I made these"

    Adobe Illustrator reference point

I use Visio, which also has an easy way to do this. But being a math major, 50 years ago, I always use X,Y 0,0 as bottom left as is done in Trig when unraveling a circle into sine and cosine waves..... When I was in school we used graph paper and a pencil to graph quadratics..... :ROFLMAO:

    Solder fume extractor

Got a chance today to do some soldering with my Modded fume extractor. WORKS PERFECTLY! Pinch me I must be dreaming. Sucked up every iota of smoke there was. It occurred to me that these are normally used for lamps and that the stiffness would be improved if I filled the two gooseneck tubes...

    Solder fume extractor

Well I spent all my free time today wrapping this up, no time left to actually test it. But IT'S ALIVE!!! The two gooseneck tubes are very flexible and hold the weight to a certain level. If I go too low it just plops over, but this height is perfect. Used a clamp and kept the metal on the...

    Waterslide Decal

Did you use cutting oil when you drilled? Rubbing alcohol, or copious amounts of dish detergent should be used to remove all residue before painting.

Anyone has a solution for changing faceplate text seamlessly?

I still have my dymo label maker from the 70's. Modern blue tooth version https://www.dymo.com/label-makers-printers/letratag-label-makers/dymo-letratag-200b-bluetooth-label-maker/SAP_2179979.html

    Solder fume extractor

Due to a shipping error and a poorly trained customer service department, I have a 4' long 1200cfm stainless steel Zline hood. I had ordered the 38".... But my workshop still needs the roof repaired, which is scheduled for this summer. In the meantime......(oh that's weird, TV said "In the...

    Solder fume extractor

So, back to ye olde soldering fume extractor. No matter how I place this sucker there's still too much goes straight up. It occurred to me that it would be easy to get a heavy steel base and a couple 16" long flex tubes (from eBay), a couple of brackets to fabricate and I should be all set to...

    Soldering Mat

You mean like this? lol.... It can get messy. I decided to move to a tray. This 1/4 cookie sheet seems to work fine. My turntable is literally that. It's longer than a chassis. Used to be the top of a 70's TV set cabinet. So it has room on it for the tools and the chassis.

Blu Tack vs Blue Painters Tape

I accidentally left a roll of this outside and it rained. When I looked at it all the gel had oozed out of the tape and dripped all over the place. One of those "ah crap" moments......

    Soldering Mat

It's on the build list! Do you have a turntable under the base? I was going to use one I've had for ages. Put a knob on it so I can screw it down to stay still after positioning.
