LMAO... Well.. the problem worked itself out. I have no clue what the issue was. It was really muffled. Id turn it off and on several times and it kept sucking the sound. Then the next day I turned it on and it works fine as far as I can tell. It doesnt compress very much even on the max setting...

Just finished this and it works but it sucks tone. Sounds like I put a blanket over my amp. Tone knob is all the way up and it still is very muffled. Where should I look to see what the issue is?

It works! I swapped out the J201 for another one I had.. looks like the first one was bunk. Got it from small bear but I guess they all cant be winners. Thanks for your help everyone! Learned a lot with this experience.

Ok, I just discovered an issue. After following the video you gave me. I was able to bias the J201 on the top left, top right and bottom right. The center J201 only reads .24v and the bottom left will only read 9v. It says in the video that the bottom two J201's are controlled by the same pot...
