Yes, re-orient the LDR to face the LED. I even cover mine with electrical tape to keep the light out

Short answer, yes. I’ve had JLC miss a trace on 1 out of like 1,000 pcbs. It was hard to find, but sure enough it wasn’t there!

I’m wondering as well. I’ve used fusion and successfully made a PCB or 2. It’s just a new learning curve and was able to import my libraries. It was Really slow at first, but I changed a setting (forget what) and it fixed the issue. It is more time consuming but will work for now as I train in KiCad

You know what gets rid of the soot? The only thing I found that works is Mr. Clean magic erasers. Exposes the aluminum and looks great. I have a 20w laser running at 87% power 46 speed and .0021 line spacing and I run light burn
