Guitar Amp Power Transformer 120/220V switch question

If you go by the usual choice for changing primary voltages, yes it's rated for amperage almost triple what the amp is capable of pulling before the mains fuse blows, but there's really no downside to using that switch either.

Here's the ratings of the switch frequently used in Marshall clones:

I'll look for a switch in line with those values.

BTW Do you think you can modify that SP3T rotary to be DPDT?

Do I need to use a relay?

AES sells this Carling switch and it will work fine for what you want to do with it:

You could use the rotary and just wire up two of the switches, but that would also be overkill and you'd need to cut a 1-3/16" hole in your chassis to accommodate it. And that's not mentioning the ridiculous price.
