The LRD leads are really thin so I cut up a tube from an empty compressed air can.
I'll be putting a little dab of silicone at the base of these tubes to secure them in place.
The paddle switch doesn't lock in as securely as I like so I put a little dab of silicone at a couple places, just to make sure it doesn't pop out of a foot goes astray.
Anyone thinking about taking on this build, it will surely give you a good run for your money.
Once the board is populated, holding the board gets a little tricky.
And lining up the LED's is a trick into itself. I insulated a leg on each LED with a piece of 24 gauge wire insulation. I did this after my first assembly attempt caused the LED leafs to buckle and contact each other.
