Median Comp/ 1776 mod for bass?

I built one and used it for guitar and bass. I am currently making one for my neighbor. My build thread his here: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/median-compressor-spirit-of-1776-functional-testing-update.22639/

IMHO, it is already to go for bass guitar. Its blocking R-C circuits accommodate anything above 33Hz, making it a full range compressor.

The only mod a bass player may want to do, would be audition smaller capacitor values for C11 & C12, to make the compression feel less sensitive to the big energy of bass notes. Perhaps use a socket in these areas. That said, I think it is easily overcome stock, using lower 'compression' (threshold) settings and blending in some clean signal with the 'blend' control.

I've used many pedal and studio rack compressors since the 70's. This one comes highly recommended by me for quick and musical results.
