If you've trolled on my breadboarding thread recently (Buddy's Breadboard and Circuit Design Notes) this may be a bit familiar. If not, I will summarize here.

I took a very basic circuit block, in this case a EHX Muff Fuzz, and tweaked it to make it much more versatile. It uses a TL074 with 4 controls: Volume, Harmonics, Tone, and Gain. Volume and Gain perform the same function, but one is before clipping and the other after. Harmonics alter the characteristic of the soft clippers (I used a 4148 and red LED as asymmetrical). Tone is a tweaked BMP tone stack, but using one of the opamps making it active rather than passive. You can do a google search for "Bigger Muff" to see what I mean (yes, I stole the idea). Values have been tweaked to get rid of the mid scoop.

Sonically, this goes from a slightly dirty boost, then OD, then fuzz territory. It does very well as a standalone, but also stacks incredibly well with other drives (pedal or amp). Need a treble booster? Here you go. Need that extra umph for some chugs? This has got you covered. Need a nice low gain sound? Boom, roasted. This is staying on my board for a while.

Huge shout out to @Chuck D. Bones for helping my from my chicken scratch design to polished circuit. Also, big shout out to @Sturdag Lagernathy for designing the PCB and faceplate. Both are awesome dudes.

I have an extra PCB and faceplate if anyone is interested. First come, first served.
