What kind of connector do I want?

I want something to connect multimeter leads to. Mini grabbers, alligator, socket to securely stick a probe in? I want it to be panel mounted. I'm gonna plug cables into jacks mounted in a box, those jacks are gonna be wired to ??? *Something* and then I connect my meter leads with some various termination. What am I looking for?

I thought about that but I have no experience with them. It seems like standard bananas are 4mm, and my probe leads are 2mm. I did find 2mm banana sockets. Is that what I want?
Being tired, and geneally dim, I think I get what you are after. Most Flukes and other full size DMMs are 4mm or 4.2mm I believe.
I've only come across one $5 meter that had to 6 leads. Maybe the HoboFreight meter does, can't remember.
If you have tiny Asian plugs maybe a set of 2mm to 4mm banana cables would do the trick?
I have a similar utility box, 2 jacks and DC made from an old $3 smallbear predrilled enclosure. Having jacks to banana is a huge benefit. direct connect to the DMM or oscope(bnc to banana adapter) with
Non-insulated DMM probes or any variety of banana to JST/Dupont/clips/etc

I would say adapt your banana to a bigger banana then the world is you ocean. Free 30 Day trial at hims.come
And. Once/If you get a with standard size jacks, nothing really changes. Just need another set of banana banana.
Jesus FC I don't think I've ever typed banana that much.

Oh. In buying banana(gawd I'm tired of this word) cables, grab ones that are stackable (female jack and male jack on the cable end). It can be helpful with grounds or if you want to switch between probes/clips/etc without unplugging.

Hey no need to go apeshit-bananas about it.
If you daiquiri like it you can make like a banana and split.
Personally I find the word (and pedals) quite a-pealing.
If I had more banana-bread, I'd buy this:
BANANANA MATRYOSHKA 2.webp
