Corduroy Fuzz - does anyone have the v1 doc?

I was thinking about modifying my Corduroy Fuzz , a pedal I've never liked so much, using the 2n5089 only to boost the Plexi Drive part of the circuit (tailoring the caps between stages to lower the bass content) but I've noticed I have a different board than the one actually published (and the doc is missing btw) , please does anyone have the old one?

Hello folks,

Does somebody know how to add a bypass to the fuzz part of the corduroy ?

Since the Velvet fuzz is a plexidrive with an added fuzz circuitry it would give a killer 2 in 1 effect (cranked plexi/plexi with a stacked in fuzz).

Would it be possible without major gain/volume drop ?

There's also a way to get more highs from the Tone control

I built an other circuit that I love but have a dark calibration : a Wampler Velvet fuzz clone, Corduroy Fuzz.

I wonder if I could do a simple modification on this circuit, adding high-mids in the signal to get a more open sound ?

I also noticed 2 caps and a resistor around the Bright pot. Maybe I can try some other values on C18, C19 and R27... should I try to increase or...

Robert beat me to the punch.

I don't know if the mods eh là bas ma mentions are the same as the following, but at some point I added the following to my schematic:

Switch 1.1 on the far left:
the top is labelled "TIGHT";​
the bottom I've labelled "BIG"​


"PLEXI" MODS
Following from switch 1.2 Left-to-Right:
C11 47p​
C13 470p​
C14 220p​
C19 100n​

Don't recall where I got that info. Usually I make note of that as well, but it's probably somewhere in the forums here if you're interested to hunt the threads.
